1. You shall have no other gods before Me
This commandment establishes exclusive devotion to God. It forbids elevating anything above God. Such as praying to saints who have already passed away, for example. This is something that you should never do, because we should pray to God the Father only like Jesus Himself used to do. And God must come first in every aspect of life as well.
2. You shall not make for yourself an idol
God prohibits creating or worshiping images, statues, or physical representations of divine beings. The idea is that God is invisible to humans and cannot be reduced to an object. For example, some people worship the cross of Jesus, and that practice can block their access to heaven. Worship must be directed to God alone, not to created objects.
3. You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain
This commandment forbids using God’s name carelessly, disrespectfully, deceitfully, or part of a joke for example. It includes false oaths, and any speech that dishonors God’s name.
4. Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy
The Sabbath or saturday, is a day of rest dedicated to God. The commandment instructs believers to cease from work, reflect, worship, and honor God’s creation and deliverance. It emphasizes rest, renewal, and spiritual focus.
5. Honor your father and your mother
This commandment calls for respect, obedience, and care for parents. It is the first commandment dealing with human relationships and is associated with the promise of well-being and longevity to those who follow it.
6. You shall not murder
This prohibits the intentional taking of innocent human life. It upholds the sanctity of life and calls for respect, justice, and protection of others.
7. You shall not commit adultery
This commandment protects marriage and sexual faithfulness. It forbids sexual relations outside the covenant of marriage and emphasizes loyalty, trust, and purity.
8. You shall not steal
This forbids taking anything that does not belong to you. It promotes honesty, fairness, and respect for others’ rights.
9. You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor
This commandment prohibits lying, slander, and false testimony. It protects justice, truthfulness, and the integrity of relationships and communities.
10. You shall not covet
Coveting means desiring what belongs to someone. This commandment prohibits envying anything that belongs to someone else.

The Bible outlines seven annual feasts and holy days in Leviticus 23. Please note that both the Passover and the Unleavened Bread feasts are considered as one feast celebrated on the same dates. Only the biblical feasts and Holy days required by God are presented, and some traditional feasts and Holy days may be missing, and the list will be updated regularly.
Purim is a biblical feast, but it is unique because it was not instituted nor required by God in the original laws given to Moses as a required God feast to celebrate. Thus, we did not add it to the list. The feasts' dates follow the Hebrew lunisolar calendar, meaning their dates on the standard secular calendar change each year. All biblical feasts and holidays begin atsundown on the evening before the date listed and end at nightfall. On the days where work is forbidden, traditional observance includes refraining from business transactions, manual labor, driving, and using electronics.
God’s instructions for the New Moon (Rosh Chodesh) are more about joyful acknowledgement of a new season. Therefore, unlike the Sabbath, there is no biblical command to stop working; instead, it is a day for specific spiritual markers. Here is what God asks for based on the biblical record:
1. Blow the Trumpets
God explicitly instructs the use of sound to mark the day.
The Command: "Also at your times of rejoicing your appointed festivals and New Moon feasts you are to sound the trumpets..." (Numbers 10:10).
Modern Day: You can blow a trumpet if you've got one, at sundown on the dates listed in the table to acknowledge the new month as a memorial before God.
2. Present Offerings of Worship
In the Old Testament, the New Moon required specific sacrifices (Numbers 28:11-15).
Modern Day: Since the Temple is no longer standing for animal sacrifices, many believers offer sacrifices of praise, such as dedicating time for extra prayer, reading the (Psalms 113–118), or setting aside a special financial gift to God to be thankful.
